The Black Bass Derby Results at Lake Berryessa, April 6th  

We had a total of 17 members sign up for the first Black Bass Derby of the year. Seven Black Bass were weighed in. It rained a few days before the derby day and it turned out to be a perfect day at Lake Berryessa. Mo N did it again, walking the shoreline and catching the largest bass again beating out the boat fisherman!! 😊 Here are the Results:

We had 11 members sign up for this all month derby, the weather was very questionable with rainy days during March, but 2 members were successful at Lake Sonoma. Burton was very successful!!

We had 9 members signed up for this derby! Could it be the rainy weather stopped members from going out? Only one fish was weighed in! 1st place went to James M for his Striped Bass of 6 lbs. 8 oz. 26 ¾”.  James you out fished everyone!

We had 24 members sign up for the 2023 Thanksgiving Striped Bass Derby and 13 Stripers were weighed in. The weigh-ins and potluck was held at the Holy Trinity Christopher Center, 999 Brotherhood Way in San Francisco 6-9:00 P.M. And the winners are:

Open Halibut Derby July 1, 2023 Results 

We had 16 members sign up for this one day Halibut Derby. The top 7 places were all caught on the Nautilus Excursion Sportfishing Boat, in the ocean, North of the Channel. The success of this trip, was credited to the 2 anglers who were chumming! We won’t mention any names! 😉

Open Black Bass Derby May 20, 2023 results 

We had 10 members sign up for this Black Bass Derby. NO BLACK BASS WERE WEIGHED IN!! WHAT’S UP WITH THAT?

We had 12 members sign up again for our second Black Bass Derby of the Year. Only 2 bass were weighed in.

April 8th (Saturday) Black Bass Derby at Lake Berryessa

We had 12 members sign up for our first Black Bass Derby of the year. The water level had risen quite a bit. Areas that we fished last year were well under water. The water clarity was pretty good since we had a lot of rain.

4 fish were weighed in during the pre-spawn period. Thank you, Mo N. for being the weigh master for this derby.

We had 12 members sign up for the first Black Bass Derby of the year despite the rainy and windy weather. What!! NO FISH WERE WEIGHED IN!! Mother Nature wins!! 

February All Month Striped Bass Derby Results 

We had 7 members sign up for this derby before the inclement weather set in. Only 2 striped bass were weighed in. The weather conditions kept many of us warm and safe at home!
